Welcome to our brand new site!

If you’re reading this, we hope you’ve enjoyed visiting our freshly redesigned website complete with updated information, a brand new blog, and a new logo for Adoption by Shepherd Care.  What brought on all this change, you may wonder?
Simply put, we realized it was time for ASC’s identity as an agency to be more accurately represented online.  We have had a website for years, but it has not done a great job of portraying who we really are.  ASC is reaching its 35th year as an agency, and during these years we have weathered many changes in adoption law and policy, adapted our practices as trends in domestic adoption have shifted, and risen to the occasion when greater requirements have been placed on us by state and federal regulatory bodies.  But our website, for the most part, has stayed the same–not keeping you up to date with our happenings and growth.
We believe that in any good agency, some things will be ever-changing while other things will remain the same.  You want your agency to change when laws and requirements change, but you want stability in their core values and mission, their character as an agency.  We have stayed the course through many changes in our 35 years, and we proactively look ahead to what new laws and new years might bring.  But at the same time, we remain committed to our mission of providing competent and compassionate adoption services to birth parents, prospective adoptive parents, and children needing a forever family.
So here you are, on our new website.  We hope that in it you will find helpful information and updates, and that through it you will either see the true ASC that you already know or use it to get to know us.
Either way, WELCOME–we’re glad you’re here!  To stay in touch, sign up for our newsletter–you can always unsubscribe at any time.  Or check back here for new posts.
